The Mid-Range Gas Gun (MRGG) is based on the SWORD Defense Systems renown MK17 rifle. The MRGG is the SWORD Defense Systems submission for a 6.5 Creedmoor semi-automatic rifle for a USSOCOM requirement. Taking the specifications of the requirement and lessons learned from the rigorous testing regimen, SWORD Defense Systems has produced an ultra-accurate and reliable semi-automatic platform the MRGG-S (Sniper) that is capable of sub-minute accuracy with a variety of 6.5 ammunition. SWORD further expanded upon this and created the MRGG-A (Assault) a short barrel select-fire variant. SWORD Defense Systems is proud to have added the MRGG to the Defense product line.
MRGG-S (Sniper)
The MRGG-S is a rear charging handle MK17 rifle chambered in either 6.5 Creedmoor or 7.62×51 NATO. It is available in 16-inch or 20-inch barrel variants.
MRGG-A (Assault)
The MRGG-A is a rear charging handle select-fire MK17 rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It is available in 12.5-inch. 14.5″ Variation available upon request.
